Annette Gregory
The music world celebrates 100 years since the birth of Ella Fitzgerald this year.

Jazz vocalist Annette Gregory released her new EP ‘Celebrating Ella Fitzgerald’ this spring ahead of her summer show at Light House Media Centre.

Annette, from Manchester, grew up in a Jamaican family to the sounds of ska and country music. After singing several genres of music with bands, she joined a community jazz band as principal vocalist and never looked back. She went on to study Jazz Vocals at The Guildhall School of Music in London, developing a tone which is described as rich, smooth and full of soul.

Inspired by the love of jazz, Annette loves to share this love with audiences and in particular her celebrations of Ella Fitzgerald. Her latest show ‘Ella – Celebrating 100 Years’ will be held here at Light House on Saturday 19th August.

She last played at The Chubb Buildings venue following her ‘Living the Dream’ EP release and has been selling out venues on her current 2017 tour.
