Set in the later years of her reign, the extraordinary true story of an unlikely friendship between Queen Victoria and a young Indian clerk named Abdul Karim.

The Queen’s household and inner circle are dead set on destroying the alliance and as their friendship deepens, the Queen begins to see a changing world through new eyes and joyfully reclaims her humanity.
