A season of classic horror is being screened at Wolverhampton’s Light House during October and November.

The season ‘Light House of Horror‘ is presented by Light House with The University of Wolverhampton and includes a talk about the film by University film experts, followed by classic screenings.

These include ‘Nosferatu‘, the 1922 German classic based on the story of Dracula on Thursday 19 October. Halloween, starring Jamie Lee Curtis, will be screened on Thursday 26th October.

The University of Wolverhampton WLV Alumni Association present a special screening of The Lost Boys to celebrate its 30th Anniversary on Friday 27th October at 8.15pm, when all tickets will be £4.50.

The Day The Earth Stood Still (1951) will be the subject of the talk and screening on Thursday 2 Nov and Burt Reynolds stars in Deliverance on Thursday 9 November. The Exorcist is the film for Thursday 16 November and finally the Spanish modern classic Pan’s Labyrinth will screen on Thursday 23 November.

Apart from The Lost Boys, all screenings in the festival will start at 5.30pm. Adult tickets are £8.15 and concessions are £6.65. All under 25s and students are just £4.50.
