This eagerly awaited second international photography festival: reclaiming our cultural landscapes, returns to the West Midlands on Saturday 6 May 2017. Participation from amateur, student and professional photographers, from 56 UK towns and cities, and 36 countries world-wide has led to over a 1000 Festival images.

We are pleased to be able to showcase all of these fantastic images in digital and print format, across eight venues in Birmingham, Dudley and Wolverhampton. We will also be hosting events and talks at some of our venues. Visit the Light House Media Centre to view our print display.

About the festival
A travelling gallery exhibition, hosted by Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery (6-21 May 2017) and Wolverhampton Art Gallery (23 May – 7 June 2017), will showcase 30 prints, selected by our Festival Adjudicator, British artist, Richard Billingham and our team of Festival curators. For the first time, we are able to offer professional awards for some of our gallery exhibitors and we are grateful to everyone who has generously offered these prestigious opportunities.

Prints from our one day event and travelling gallery exhibition, will be auctioned by Will Farmer, Fieldings Auctioneers Ltd, to raise funds for St Basils, who work with young people aged 16-25, to prevent youth homelessness (Charity No: 1080154). The auction will take place at the Edwardian Tearooms, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery on Friday 7 July from 5-8pm. View our exhibition brochure here published on ISSU. View our exhibition gallery page and bid online in advance of the auction here. Online bidding closes at 3pm, Friday 7 July 2017. This private auction is not for profit and is not publicly funded. You must be 18 years or over to bid on the auction.
