Box Office & Gallery opening hours:
Mon – Fri: 9am – 8.30pm
Sat & Sun: Open 45 mins before first film screening until 8.30pm

Closed Bank Holidays – except when there’s a screening or event. Opening times may be extended for particular screenings and events.

To book online, go the page of the film/event title and click on the BLUE time on the right of the page to go to the online booking facility.
If the time is not shown in blue, please call the box office to check for available tickets offline.

Lock Works opening hours:
Service of drinks is always available when Light House is open, if not from this bar then from reception.
Mon: 9am – 1.30pm & 5pm – 8.30pm
(Bar open later to the public when Quiz night and other events are on)

Tue: 9am – 8.30pm
(Bar open later to the public when Language Cafes and other events are on)

Wed: 9am – 8.30pm
(Bar open later to the public when Singles Night and other events are on)

Thurs: 9am – 8.30pm
(Bar open later to the public when Language Cafes and other events are on)

Fri: 9am – 8.30pm
(Bar open later to the public when All Hands on Decks and other events are on)

Sat: Timings dependent on events – open for food 1 hour before screenings and for events such as Young Open Mic and courses.

Sun: Closed apart from matinee and special events.

ADMISSION CHARGES

Gallery Admission:
Admission to the Main and Balcony Gallery is free of charge for regular exhibitions. Feature exhibitions such as Willard Wigan’s 2016 Homecoming exhibition will incur an admission charge.

Standard ticket prices are as follows. Different ticket prices may apply for special screenings or events. 

Cinema Tickets:

2016 ticket prices are (January 2017 prices in brackets)
£8 (£8.15)for adults
£4.50 for under 25s and Students with ID
£6.50 (£6.65)other concessions.

Sunday prices are £6.80 (£6.95)for adults
£4.50 for under 25s and students
£6.30 (£6.45)other concessions

Online and telephone bookings have a 30p per ticket booking fee.

Wednesday and midweek matinees are just £4.50 with a free tea or coffee.
Friends of Light House members receive £1 off ticket price (does not apply to matinée offer.)
Compare the Market customers can take advantage of the Meerkat Movies offer on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with 2 for 1 tickets.

Group booking discount: For groups of 10 or more booking in advance, receive 10% off (excludes Wednesday matinees and special screenings). If you are an educational or school group you can also get one teacher/helper space free of charge for every 10 people.

Refund policy:

Light House will only issue refunds for performances that are cancelled or if pre-advertised screening times in Light House publicity are altered. Light House cannot be responsible for the incorrect listing of screening times in external publications or third party online listings.
